THE URBAN FACTORY IS THE NORTH EAST'S PREMIER TRAINING FACILITY FOR CHEERLEADING, PARKOUR AND GYMNASTICS.
At The Urban Factory we believe that, regardless of age or ability, every child should have access to high quality, fun, safe and inclusive training.
We have turned an old manufacturing factory into an incredible community sports venue. Everyone is welcome here and we welcome you to our TUF Family.
The Urban Factory was opened in 2018 by Rachel Lynch to provide the regions first dedicated training facility for cheerleading and tumbling for her Programme North East Cheer.
Due to the size and scale of the facility and the growing popularity of Parkour in our region, Rachel worked with the local parkour community to add a bespoke parkour arena to the facility.
The Urban Factory is an incredible space, providing a home to North East Cheer and North East Parkour.

The Urban Factory is the home of North East Cheer.
North East Cheer aims to use the competitive sport of cheerleading as a way of engaging young people in physical activity and leadership.
